North Dakota man dies in South Dakota rollover crash

CLAIRE CITY, S.D. (KFGO) – A southeastern North Dakota man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in northeastern South Dakota Sunday night.

The South Dakota Department of Public Safety says the 27-year-old from Lidgerwood was driving east of Claire City when he lost control of the pickup. The pickup went into the ditch and rolled.

A 28-year-old Claire City man who was a passenger suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Neither man’s name has been released.

The crash, including whether either man was wearing a seatbelt, is under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
