Search warrant executed in Detroit Lakes over stolen gun

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (KVRR) –Law enforcement executed a search warrant in Detroit Lakes after a report of a stolen gun.

Before 5 p.m. Wednesday, Becker County Sheriff’s Office, Detroit Lakes Police Department, and members of the Lakes Area SWAT Team
showed up ay 230 Barbara Avenue with a search warrant.

A pistol was reported missing earlier in the day from a home near Frazee.

Authorities say the gun was believed to be loaded and in the possession of a 27-year-old man.

The investigation remains ongoing and no other details were given at this time.
