Country Singer Reveals Near Death Experience After Mahnomen Concert

A country music star leaves fans stunned during her concert at Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen.

KVRR anchor TJ Nelson was there Friday night when Sara Evans revealed the horrifying incident that happened the last time she played the casino in 2012.

Sara says after the show, she along with her brother and sister in law boarded a private jet for a flight home to Alabama.

But minutes into the flight when the pilot switched on auto pilot, the gyroscope didn’t work and the plane went into freefall and did a complete 360 twice.

Everyone on the plane nearly blacked out.

Sara says they were seconds away from hitting the ground when the pilot was able to get the plane under control and they flew to Grand Forks.

She also talked about having to stay at a hotel where she was certain a meth party was going on until the next morning when another plane was brought in to take her home.
