Body found by the river in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (KVRR) — A male is found dead by the river in Grand Forks.

Police say he was found unresponsive on the Greenway area, south of the railroad bridge, after 2 p.m.

He was found face down in the snow and officers say it was obvious he was dead so no life-saving measures were taken.

Police say they do not believe there is any threat to the public.

His identity will be released once family is notified.
