Authorities Search for Man Involved in Shooting

Authorities are searching for a man who shot another man in Parshall.

New Town Chief of Police James Johns says the shooting happened this morning in an area close to the Parshall School.

He says one person was injured and taken to the hospital in Minot.

Authorities say schools and several businesses in Parshall and in New Town were put on lockdown.

The lockdown at Parshall school was lifted at the end of the school day.
