Concordia College celebrates MLK Jr. Day

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — Concordia College celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a series of campus events.
The theme for the event is “A dream bigger than him, bigger than us.”
Activities of the day included coffee hour, a church service, discussion sessions, and a keynote address.
Dr. Wylin Wilson, an associate professor of theological ethics at Duke Divinity School, talked about the legacy of MLK Jr.
“But what is important in the legacy that Dr. King left is significance, the power, the ethical power of opening ourselves to the stories of others,” said Dr. Wylin Wilson
Dr. Wylin Wilson also spoke about social issues such as the loneliness epidemic.
