Nevis, MN woman killed in head-on crash near Park Rapids

PARK RAPIDS, Minn. (KVRR) — A woman from Nevis, Minnesota is dead after a head-on crash Tuesday afternoon.

Minnesota State Patrol says 80-year-old Nancy Bamlet was driving east on Highway 34 east of Park Rapids when she crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup.

Bamlet died from her injuries.

The driver of the pickup, 85-year-old Noel Sletten of Park Rapids, was taken to a Fargo hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
