Park Christian School Hosts Annual Science Fair
For some, the fair serves as a springboard to state or even national competition; others simply use it as an opportunity to improve their organizational or oratory skills.

MOORHEAD, MN (KVRR) – Local high schoolers showed off their hard work today in a science fair that might just lead to them receiving national recognition.
Park Christian School hosted their annual science fair for 8th and 10th graders in their main gymnasium.
87 projects were on display, and the winners were chosen by a panel of judges.
The students have been working on these projects since August, so it’s a massive undertaking for them – and their parents are amazed to see it all come together.
“One of the things that this really teaches is perseverance,” said Krista Holter, who has been overseeing the fair for 19 years. “We teach our kids how to do big things that are tough and break them into small pieces. So parents often are like, thank you for teaching us actually how to eat an elephant. ”
If the students choose to take their projects to the next level, they will continue to refine them until the state championships for Minnesota take place at the end of March.
