Fire destroys south Fargo home, two hospitalized

FARGO (KVRR) – Two people are in the hospital after a house fire late Monday night in south Fargo

Fargo Firefighters responded to the fire at a residence at 1342 15th Street South just before 11:00 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found the first floor of the house fully engulfed in fire. All residents were out of the house prior to their arrival.

A second alarm was called for additional crews to get the fire extinguished. The fire caused widespread damage.

Two residents were transported to a hospital for smoke inhalation. Four cats also died in the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
