Stolen vehicle in West Fargo tracked down with help of Flock Safety Camera System

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — West Fargo Police arrest a man with no permanent address, driving a stolen vehicle.

The vehicle was taken Monday around 10 p.m. in the 3300 block of Sheyenne Street.

The caller said the keys were inside and the vehicle was running at the time of the theft.

A Flock Safety Camera System captured the vehicle moments later near the intersection of 7th Avenue and 17th Street East.

The driver attempted to flee, but officers pinned the vehicle in a cul-de-sac near the 700 block of 50th Street South.

Officers arrested 26-year-old Andrew LaFountaine for felony theft possession, theft from motor vehicle, driving under suspension, DUI and DUI refusal and multiple probation violations.
