Securing North Dakota From Cyberattackers
FARGO — A new state leader is looking for your help to make North Dakota a fortress against cyberattack.
His first request: stop opening the gates to cyber attackers.
John Rodenbiker took office in January.
He says most people mistakenly believe the security of your data comes down to better technology features.
While your information technology protection program quality is important, Rodenbiker acknowledges, tech failure is usually not where breaches occur.
Instead, he says, it’s usually human beings falling for scams.
Rodenbiker joined the Morning Show to talk about his earliest days in office and what he wants you to know to keep yourselves, your families, and your businesses safe from bad actors online.
