Voters Selling Off UND Nickname Votes

Take two in the UND nickname voting process as some votes go to the highest bidder.

Just a couple of the more than 80-thousand voters have put their votes up for sale on Craigslist.

The second round of voting is underway with three options: Fighting Hawks, Roughriders and Nodaks.

They were the top vote-getters in initial voting earlier this month during which North Stars and Sundogs were eliminated.

The online vote ends Friday night at midnight.

If one nickname doesn’t get 50 percent, a third vote will be held.
