Protesters Push Back on U.S. Military Actions in Iran
Those demonstrating expressed various issues with the offensive measures, be it that the President did not obtain Congressional approval or that they believe this is meant to distract from domestic issues.

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Protests have been happening with regularity in the Fargo-Moorhead area as of late, but an extra one was called this weekend following U.S. military actions in Iran.
The strikes, carried out in conjunction with the Israeli military, have reportedly killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Violence related to these actions has continued throughout the greater region, with protesters killed at a U.S. Consulate in Pakistan.
On Sunday at noon, protesters gathered on the Veterans Memorial Bridge to decry U.S. involvement in these operations.
Organizers say the turnout shows Americans are not interested in another pointless war.
“There’s probably 50 people that came here on literally, you know, less than 12 hours’ notice. It’s just an indication to me how increasingly people are willing to put themselves out there and say this is not ok,” said Lyn Dockter-Pinnick of Red River United Indivisible.
“Is the Ayatollah Khomeni someone who should have not been in power? Absolutely true. But we’re going into this war without a plan,” she added.
President Trump has said that “heavy and pinpoint bombing” in Iran would continue through the week or perhaps longer.
