Fargo Fire Department responds to camper and storage unit fire

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR/KFGO) — Crews were busy cleaning up after knocking down a fire at a storage unit.
It happened in the 1000 block of 23rd Street South in Fargo around 4:45 this afternoon.
The caller reported a camper in one of the units caught fire and it quickly spread to other units.
At least two propane tanks were heard exploding.
The fire was under control within about 10 minutes of firefighters arriving on scene.
A city spokesperson says approximately 12 storage units sustained significant fire and smoke related damage.
A damage cost estimate is not yet available.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
