Suspect in Moorhead Casey’s Robbery Still on the Loose

A suspect is still on the run after robbing a Casey’s General Store in south Moorhead early this morning.

The suspect entered the store around 5:30 this morning where three employees were working at the time.

They say he demanded money and was holding a gun.

The employees complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.

He then immediately fled from the scene.

“Sometimes people feel that if the person isn’t immediately arrested that there’s an opportunity there and I would caution anyone who would think that because we have a very high clearance rate and success of conviction for these types of crimes,” said Moorhead Police Lieutenant Tory Jacobson.

At the time of the robbery, the suspect was wearing sweatpants and a white hooded sweatshirt.

Police say he is a lighter skin male between 6 foot 1 and 6 foot 2.
