Rural Otter Tail County home heavily damaged by fire
NEW YORK MILLS, Minn. (KVRR) – A house in rural New York Mills, Minnesota is possibly a total loss after a weekend fire.
Crews from New York Mills and Perham Fire Departments responded around 5 a.m. after receiving a report of a structure fire.
Two people and several animals in the house were able to escape without injury while crews worked to put the fire out.
They say the home received heavy damage.
The cause is being investigated by Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office and the state fire marshal.
