Wingstop returns to the Fargo area with a grand opening celebration

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Wingstop returns to the Fargo area with a Grand Opening.

The new location, located on 2301 South University Drive, opened its doors to a line of people.

Fans of the franchise were excited as it returned to the Fargo area.

A former Wingstop location on 45th Street South closed its doors in 2019.

The location on University is under new ownership, and they say they have been working hard to keep the flavor running.

“I’ve been waiting all week. Ever since I’ve seen the first post on Facebook, I’ve been so excited, and I knew I had to be one of the first ones out the door,” said Myjia Smith.

“We are the flavor experts, and I want them to realize that we have a quality product and quality flavors that go with it,” said Mike Leslie, Partner.

Wingstop currently has more than 3,000 restaurants worldwide.
