Child hurt, two cited after crash at busy Fargo intersection

FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – A child was taken to the hospital after a crash at 13th Avenue and 25th Street South in Fargo on Friday morning.
Fargo Police responded just after 9 a.m. Sgt. Alexander Bollman says a red SUV going east on 13th Avenue ran a red light and hit another SUV that was going south on 25th Street.
The SUV then crashed into a minivan.
The driver of the red SUV was cited for failure to obey a traffic control signal.
The driver of the black SUV was cited for having an improperly restrained child.
Sgt. Bollman says one child was taken to the hospital by ambulance to be treated for minor injuries.
Fargo Police conducted traffic control at the intersection for about 30 minutes until the vehicles could be removed from the road. Traffic flow was back to normal by 9:40 a.m.
All three were towed from the scene.
The Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance assisted Fargo Police at the scene.
