WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – One of North Dakota’s oldest continuously operating establishments celebrated a major milestone on Saturday.

The Town Hall Bar, located at 103 Main Avenue West in West Fargo, held a 90th birthday celebration.

There was a collage set up with newspaper clippings of stories dating back to many eras in the bar’s long, long history.

The celebration also included free food and drink specials.

The Town Hall Bar building itself was constructed in 1935, which puts it in the running for oldest bar in North Dakota.

However, Peacock Alley in Bismarck has long claimed to be the oldest bar in North Dakota. It opened in 1911.
