Fire damages barn at property near Dent, MN

DENT, Minn. (KFGO) – The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fire on a rural property near Dent, Minnesota.

Deputies received a report of a barn fire around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, March 30.

The Dent, Vergas and Perham Fire Departments responded to extinguish the fire.

First responders say the fire started in the upper hay loft of the barn and caused moderate damage.

No animals were lost and no injuries were reported.

The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating, but says the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
