BIA Foundation of Red River Valley opens applications for high school students pursuing careers in trade

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — High school students pursuing careers in construction trades have the chance to receive a scholarship up to $1,000.
B-I-A Foundation of the Red River Valley is offering its annual scholarship to students planning to attend Minnesota State Community and Technical College or North Dakota State College of Science.
BIA is the charitable arm of the Building Industry Association of the Red River Valley
The foundation has awarded over $450,000 in scholarships.
“There’s not a lot of jobs in this world that you can fill out an application that takes ten or fifteen minutes and gets you five hundred or a thousand dollars in scholarship money. So it’s a really good, easy way to make some money that you can put towards your college and towards your education, furthering your career,” said Elliot Steinbrink, President of BIA Foundation of Red River Valley.
The application deadline for the scholarship is May 1.
