Self-guided tours are set at Horace Mann Elementary before the building is demolished

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — This could be your last chance to stroll the halls of Horace Mann Elementary School before the wrecking ball arrives.
The school has been a staple in the Fargo community for more than a century, housing generations of young students.
The community is invited to take a self-guided tour of the building on Saturday, April 11 from noon to 4 p.m. or on Wednesday, May 13 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The building which opened in 1915 will be demolished after this school year to make way for a new elementary school.
The new school will retain the Horace Mann Elementary School name and will be ready to open in fall 2028.
