Two high risk sex offenders register new addresses with Fargo police

FARGO – The Fargo Police Department is notifying the community of two high risk sex offenders that have registered addresses in Fargo.

Damion Winter Orton, 39, registered his address as 123 15th St. N.

Orton was assessed as a high risk offender in 2014 after he was convicted of Gross Sexual Imposition in Burleigh County District Court in North Dakota.

The victim was a 14-year-old female.

He is described as being 5’9”, 155 lbs., with brown eyes and brown hair.

Brian Keith Sternberg, 57, registered his residence at 1001 42nd St. S.

Sternberg was assessed as a high risk offender after being convicted in Cass County District Court in 2000 for child abuse and continuous sexual abuse of a child. The victims were a young male and a young female.

Sternberg was also convicted in Cass County District Court for corruption/solicitation of a minor in 1992. The victim was a 17-year-old female.
