Two people sentenced for 2025 shooting death of Frazee, MN teen

BECKER CO., Minn. (KVRR) — Two people are sentenced to long prison terms for shooting and killing a 19-year-old Frazee, Minnesota teen in December.
21-year-old Arthur Campbell was given 40 years in prison for second-degree murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and soliciting juveniles to commit a felony.
16-year-old Kayne Mackner was given over 31 years in prison for second-degree murder and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Mackner was charged as an adult in the case.
Court records show Campbell and Mackner forced their way into a home to steal items when they shot 19-year-old Bryson May multiple times.
A witness told officers that she recognized one of the suspects as Campbell.
They were later found in Otter Tail County and arrested.
