North Dakota Medical Marijuana Petition Rejected

Secretary of State Al Jaeger rejects a petition by backers of a proposed ballot measure to legalize medical marijuana in North Dakota.

Jaeger says they have more paperwork to complete before he can review it.

Jaeger said the paperwork was missing an affidavit page and signature pages.

Rilie Morgan of Fargo is chairman of the petition’s sponsoring committee.

He says the issues are correctible.

Once the proper paperwork is in, Jaeger has five to seven business days to give the committee a petition title.
