Coca-Cola holds groundbreaking ceremony at site of new facility in West Fargo

WEST FARGO — Coca-Cola High Country held a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of their new facility in West Fargo.
In March, the company confirmed plans to move from their longtime location in Moorhead to an industrial area on Third Avenue Northwest in West Fargo.
City and company officials gathered for donuts and bottles of Coke and Dasani.
According to the company, they are happy with the new location’s visibility and quick access to Interstate 94.
Coca-Cola High Country says the new building will have some features their old building lacks.
“This facility will be wide open,” said Coca-Cola High Country President and CEO Trevor Messinger. “It’ll have a fleet shop to take care of our trucks separately from the main building. It’ll allow us to move inventory more efficiently, to keep it more efficiently. We’ll have more docks to get our trucks in and out of than we have currently.”
Messinger says they think construction of the facility will take about a year to complete.
