High School Officials Mourn Loss of Former Coach

Fellow high school athletics officials in North Dakota are mourning the death of a colleague.

Lyne Enget died Monday in a pileup crash involving 10 vehicles in dense fog south of Minot.

Enget coached the Stanley-Powers Lake football team to three Class A state championships.

He continued to serve as Stanley’s athletic director following his retirement from coaching in 2011.

Westhope athletic director Layne Fluhrer says Enget built Stanley into a powerhouse, and will be missed by the community.
