Fog Turns Deadly South of Minot

One person is dead and at least five hurt after a multiple-vehicle crash in dense fog.

It happened Monday morning around 8 on Highway 83 south of Minot.

A Highway Patrol trooper says Lyne Enget of Stanley died in the pileup when Enget’s vehicle was hit by a semi.

An anhydrous ammonia tanker truck was one of the vehicles involved in the wreck.

The tanker was mostly empty although one person may have been exposed to anhydrous.

Two more people were hurt in a separate fog related crash West of Minot on Highway 2.
