Tammy Miller to receive Honorary Doctorate from Minnesota State Moorhead

MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — North Dakota’s former lieutenant governor is about to receive an Honorary Doctorate.
Minnesota State Moorhead will honor Tammy Miller with an honorary Doctor of Business at its 2 p.m. commencement ceremony on Friday.
Miller served as Lieutenant Governor with then Gov. Doug Burgum from January 2023 through 2024.
She was formerly the CEO and Board Chair of Border States.
Miller holds degrees in accounting and a Master of Business Administration from MSUM.
“I am incredibly honored by this recognition. I’ve long believed that leadership is about creating opportunities for individuals and organizations to reach their full potential,” Miller said. “My education and experiences at MSUM were foundational to my success and prepared me well to collaborate with others dedicated to expanding opportunities and sharing success.”
