West Fargo man arrested for daycare bomb threat in December, possible ties to other incidents

WEST FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A West Fargo man has been arrested for allegedly making a bomb threat against a Kindred daycare center last December.

Cass County deputies arrested 37-year-old Cody Weathermon on Monday afternoon on two felony counts of terrorizing.

Weathermon is accused of contacting Red River Regional Dispatch Center and making the bomb threat.

As a precaution, the daycare center closed for the day while deputies checked multiple daycare centers and schools throughout rural Cass County for suspicious items.

Nothing was located.

Cass County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate multiple incidents allegedly involving Weathermon and anticipate more charges.
