Moorhead man arrested after crashing vehicle into building
MAHNOMEN COUNTY, Minn. (KVRR) — A Moorhead man is arrested after crashing his vehicle into a building in rural Naytahwaush.
Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Saturday before 8:30 p.m. on County Road 4.
They say 36-year-old Charles Ortely was driving when his vehicle left the road, hit an approach and landed on a building.
One person was inside but was not hurt.
Ortely was found nearby and was caught after a short foot pursuit.
Authorities found pills and open alcohol botttles in the vehicle.
He refused to submit sobriety tests.
Witnesses say he arrived at a party before the crash already intoxicated.
