Moorhead Daycare Owner Accused of Being Drunk

A Moorhead day care owner is accused of being drunk while watching children.

Clay County prosecutors have charged 34 year old Holly Heiser with seven counts of neglect or endangerment of a child.

A parent called police on September 11th and reported Heiser.

Her blood alcohol level was .277.  The legal limit for driving is .08.

In court documents, Heiser said she started drinking Vodka about two hours before police arrived.

All of the children in her care at the time were under the age of three.

Heiser is expected in court October 29th.
