Fargo Power Outage Causes Problems

After five power outages in the past two weeks, people here in Fargo are over the power failures.
 
Xcel Energy says its stepping up efforts to replace power lines and trim trees to prevent branches from affecting lines.

An outage hit north Fargo yesterday, leaving people without power and causing businesses to close shop.

For out-of-towners in Fargo to see Garth Brooks, the possibility of more outages raise some concerns.

“We went first towards were the outage was in because we didn’t know your town. It took a while to find a place to eat but we were mostly worried about Garth Brooks concert. We were really worried that that would be cancelled.” say Holly Bottum of Tulare, South Dakota.
 
The City of Fargo will also like to remind drivers that during outages, they are to treat “dark” intersections as all-way stops.
