Moorhead Woman Rides in Style to Shoplift at Rochester Mall

A Moorhead woman who shoplifted at a Rochester mall after arriving in a limo, has been sentenced to 50 days in jail.

22-year-old Karina Bourcy pleaded guilty Friday to assault and theft.

She received credit for 47 days served.

A complaint says Bourcy fought with security at an Apache Mall sporting goods store in August before running away with about $300 in merchandise.

The limo driver helped police catch Bourcy, after she called for a ride back to her hotel.
