North Dakota Governor Poll Says 60 Percent Consider Voting for…
Results of the first poll on potential candidates for North Dakota governor might surprise you.
Fargo based Telos Associates sampling of 500 state voters found Republicans favor Wayne Stenehjem and Democrats favor State Senator George Sinner.
Sixty percent of people said they would consider voting for an independent.
Pollster Jason Matthews says that indicates there’s a “clear path” for Fargo businessman Doug Burgum, should he decide to run for governor as an independent.
He says Burgum has the financial resources to run an effective campaign.
