NDSU college student’s wheels were turning as they hosted Freescale’s “Internet of Tomorrow” tour where they looked at evolving technology.
Students in the College of Engineering could view technology in over 120 demonstrations in areas such as automotive, medical, smart homes and cities.
In this three–story truck people could check out automotive technology by test driving an advanced driver assisted system.
Freescale employees say they are hoping this gets students thinking about ideas for the future generations of technology.
“We want them to take all of this, absorb all of this technology and start thinking realize how easy it is to work with it, how easy it is to get started. There’s support to help them start thinking about that next generation of internet of things technology,” says Freescale Global Marketing Manager Scott Hughes.
Hughes says they started the tour on Oct. 1, 2014 and Fargo is their 98th stop.
It wraps up Oct. 1, but they hope to keep it going.
