More Access to Minnesota State Park Campsites
Campers will be able to make reservations at hundreds of previously “first come, first served” Minnesota state park campsites starting this week.
DNR officials say access to those additional sites will open for the entire camping season at each park.
Those sites typically make up 25 percent of the total sites at each campground.
The DNR will also start accepting same-day reservations with no reservation fee at most parks for travelers who show up spontaneously.
Campers can check the DNR reservations site for availability and to make reservations.
