The new Avalon West event center in Fargo opens its doors after a $1.4 million dollar renovation.

KVRR’s Brittany Ford has an inside look what was formally known as the Hub.

The new Avalon West is being called the largest state of the art private event center in North Dakota.

Owner Tom Poole says the building was crafted to host any type of occasion.

“See the place they can define, and we just have to show them all the possibilities. We have to be creative with them show them some things we’ve done in the past, make suggestions,” said Avalon Event Planning CEO Tom Poole.

The venue features 7-different themed ballrooms; all crafted with state of the art materials.

The largest and most versatile room at that the Avalon West facility features is the millennium ballroom.

It includes 460 different options of adjustable LED lighting to choose from, and theater style main floor.

Soon to be bride Melissa Olson is getting married in the Dakota Ballroom next June, and says she couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

“We actually booked the place before it was even finished. It was a big leap of faith, but it worked out in our favor, and it looks great,” said soon-to-be bride Melissa Olson.

She also shared why they were sold once they saw the Dakota room.

“The size was perfect, and it’s actually kind of funny because our dog is named Dakota so we kind of have to go with that it was meant to be,” said soon-to-be-bride Melissa Olson.

Rental charges vary for each room.

However, there is no rental fee for non-profits or school administrations.
