Inmate Accused of Assaulting Jail Guards

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) _ A Bismarck man is accused of assaulting two guards at the Burleigh Morton Detention Center. Authorities say 27-year-old Efrain Knowles was being escorted by the guards Aug. 7 when he began resisting. After being taken to the ground, Knowles proceeded to kick the guards in the abdomen.
