North Dakota oil well explodes, no reports of injuries

GRENORA, N.D. – Sheriff’s officials say an oil well exploded and caught fire Monday in northwestern North Dakota. There are no reports of any injuries. The Divide County Sheriff’s Department says the oil storage tank that exploded held about 1,300 barrels of oil northeast of Grenora. Cleanup underway after 21,000-gallon oil well spill

WILLISTON, N.D. – Cleanup is underway after 21,000 gallons of crude oil spilled at a well east of Williston. State Oil and Gas Division officials say the release at the Equinor Energy LP well was due to a valve failure. Officials say the oil was contained on-site and all but about 400 gallons had been recovered as of Wednesday afternoon….
