Ben Franklin Middle School Students Meet With Young Opera Artists

Some middle school students get a chance to meet young opera artists.

The Fargo–Moorhead Opera’s 2015 Young Artist Program brought some high pitched talent to students at Ben Franklin Middle School.

They performed several pieces in different languages for the students.

To get into the program, participants had to audition in New York.

“These things, whether people take them and run with them and turn them into a career, are wonderful but they’re also wonderful just because arts is about enhancement of daily life, about quality of life,” says Eric McEnaney the Young Artist Program Director.

After the singing, the artists answered questions that the students collaborated on.
