Moorhead School Board and Special Olympics

There are new changes for Moorhead Public Schools and the Special Olympics.

The district will no longer directly participate with the program during school hours as they have for the past 40 years.

They will make school facilities available for use and sharing information for the events.

A new adapted athletics program for students with disabilities will start in the fall.

Some parents are concerned because children in elementary school will not be able to participate in the program.
