Minnesota Legend Speaks At Graduation
A Minnesota legend and United States official made his way to Concordia for graduation.
583 Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music students received their degrees at this year’s Concordia College commencement.
The 42nd Vice President of the United States Walter Mondale was the main speaker at today’s event.
Mondale served under President Jimmy Carter and as a U.S. Senator from Minnesota.
“Do as you’ve been trained, tell the truth, obey the law, be honest be kind, make friends, listen and learn and go out and help us…and have a good time while you’re at it,” said Mondale
Mondale also received an honorary degree from Concordia.
