St. Mark’s Lutheran to Become Events Center

An historic downtown Fargo church is on track to become an events center in 2016.

Kilbourne Group leaders say a $4 million renovation of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church on 4th Avenue North will begin this summer.

They say the church and adjoining education wing are perfect for weddings and other events.

Jade Presents also plans to host up to 40 concerts a year in the building.

The groups are working with the city to start a new class of liquor license for the facility and others like it in the community.
