When Pigs Fly: Luxury Pet Terminal At JFK International
Dogs and even horses are about to fly first class.
JFK in New York City is opening a luxury animal terminal next year called the ARK at JFK.
The 178,000-square-foot, $48 million facility will include climate-controlled stalls for horses and cows, dogs will get hotel suites with TVs and human-size beds and bedside photo frames suitable for family portraits.
The terminal is set to accommodate animals from sloths to penguins.
The Noah’s ark inspired facility will handle more than 70,000 animals every year.
