Fargo’s Noridian Healthcare Coughs Up $45 Million for Website Mistakes

Fargo based Noridian Healthcare Solutions has agreed to repay $45 million for a failed health care exchange website in Maryland.

That state’s website crashed right after opening October 1, 2013.

The state later rebuilt its website with other technology.

It was one of the reasons behind the firing of Paul vonĀ  EbersĀ  as CEO of the Blues.

Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh says Noridian never delivered on what it promised and as a result thousands of Marylanders suffered delays and frustration.

Frosh says tens of millions of taxpayer dollars were wasted.
