Fargo Billed Nearly $1 Million for Transportation Grant
Fargo city leaders get a surprise bill from the Federal Transit Administration.
It wants a nearly $1 million refund for violating terms of a transportation grant that paid for the Ground Transportation Center.
The city turned part of the center into a new municipal court facility five years ago without federal approval.
Interim City Adminstrator Bruce Grubb says he hopes the oversight on the part of the city won’t require a lump sum repayment.
