Fargo Police Search for Assault Suspect; Blood Found at Fargo Family Fare

Fargo police say they believe a man hospitalized with severe head injuries was the victim of an assault.

Police were called Friday afternoon to an emergency room where the injured man showed up.

Hours earlier, they were called to Family Fare on University Drive north after a large pool of blood was found outside the store.

The injured man left the hospital on his own and police have not been able to get much information to help identify a suspect.

Police are looking at store surveillance.
