Ringing Bells Turns into a Friendly Competition

If you hear people ringing bells around Fargo it’s for more than just a cause, it’s a friendly competition.

Realtors were ringing bells at Scheels, and more than 30 other locations in the Fargo-Moorhead area to raise money for the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign. Realtors from more than 25 other states joined the The Fargo Moorhead Area Association of Realtors to help people in need. Realtor Ring Day is kicking off a challenge between firefighters, law enforcement, and realtors to see who can raise the most money. Last year, the realtors won by raising more than $35,000. Law enforcement officers will be ringing bells on Dec. 11 for their event, Fire Up the Kettles.
