Barnes County Closer To Getting Another Wind Farm

Barnes County could be getting another wind farm.

The PSC has received an application for a 300 megawatt farm called the “Glacier Ridge Wind Farm”.

It would consist of nearly 90 turbines on more than 34,000 acres about five miles northeast of Valley City.

The company wants to start construction by November.

The PSC will call for a public hearing on the proposal, once it’s deemed the filing is complete.
